HATHA YOGA

The Sanskrit word Hatha means force or forceful; it is often interpreted as the Sun and the Moon energies within. It is pronounced something like this: Hah-t-ha. 

In a Hatha Yoga class, you will practise a set of physical exercises (known as asanas or postures) and sequences of asanas designed to bring alignment to your body; you will also learn Pranayama (breathing techniques) and Meditation.

These techniques are designed to allow Prana (Life Force) to flow freely through the spinal column to infuse our whole body with fresh energy. 

After a Hatha Yoga class, you will feel energized yet very calm. Just the perfect balance!

Level: Anyone can practice Hatha yoga because all poses have different variations to choose from.
